Happy Halloween!!

October is all about the beginning of Fall, pumpkin spice lattes, warm sweaters and pumpkin patches.  When we think of October, we think of the last day of the month, Halloween!

Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve, is a yearly holiday observed around the world on October 31.  Want to know more about the History of Halloween?

And for all you ANIMAL LOVERS, our 2nd Annual Pet Costume Contest is here!  Send us a picture of your pet dressed up in their Halloween Costume by November 6th and you will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Chick-fil-a.  We will announce the winner in December's Newsletter!

The winner of the Downers Grove 2012 YPN Pet Costume Contest was Mugsy Wenzel as the flying monkey!!  Mugsy won with $70!! and all procedes went to the West Suburban Humane Society.  Schatze came as the Wicked Witch!
