Thanksgiving Day is a Time for Family and is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November each year.   It is positioned at the end of harvest season and is an annual federal holiday to express thanks for one’s material and spiritual possessions.

Daylight Savings Time is Upon Us! 
During late winter we move our clocks one hour ahead and "lose" an hour during the night and each fall we move our clocks back one hour and "gain" an extra hour.    But Daylight Saving Time wasn't just created to confuse our schedules.   Daylight Savings will happen the first Sunday of November.

The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held each year on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery . The ceremony commences precisely at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

The Latest Mortgage News

The average rate for a conventional 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) reached a record low, according to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey. For the first time in history, the 30-year FRM dropped below four percent, averaging 3.94 percent for the week ending October 6, 2011. That's a 0.33 percent difference from last year's average of 4.27 for the same week in October.
